January 2025, Mayflex, the distributor of Converged IP Solutions, has appointed Tom Healey as Logistics Director with full responsibility for the warehousing and operations team.

Tom joins Mayflex from LKQ Euro Car Parts where he worked for 14 years, an organisation with a £1.4Bn turnover and warehousing with 100,000 SKUs and delivering 1.2M units per week to both B2B and B2C customers.

The Mayflex TDP started in early 2017 and was completed in February 2018. February 2018, Mayflex, the distributor of Converged IP Solutions, has seen its 100th trainee successfully complete accredited vendor training at its offices in Birmingham. Nina Waugh, CCTV engineer at Videcom Security Ltd completed the Dahua certified installer course during January and passed with a class leading perfect score of 100% in her end of course exam.

January 2018, Mayflex, the distributor of Converged IP Solutions, has introduced a regular monthly session for customers to conduct an official guided tour of its Birmingham Headquarters. The tours will take place on the last Wednesday of every month with the first date scheduled to take place on Wednesday 28th February.

On 30th November 2017, British Standards issued BS6701:2016+ A1: 2017; an amendment to the frequently used standard entitled ‘Telecommunications Equipment and Telecommunications Cabling – Specification for installation, operation and maintenance.’
