Mayflex employs approximately 285 people, many of which have been with the company for a number of years, thereby providing stability and an incredible knowledge of both the company and the industry.
The team is led by an experienced and dedicated management team.
Andrew Percival
Managing Director
Andrew joined the business over 30 years ago and has worked in a variety of roles from his original position of picking and packing in the warehouse, through to a variety of sales and business development roles, to his current post as group Managing Director.
Andrew's time is mostly spent reviewing and setting the groups long term strategies for customer, market and product development as well as keeping a close eye on customer service quality. He led the expansion of the company’s activities into international markets and has a keen eye for growth opportunities created by new technology.
Since his appointment as Managing Director in January 2000, Andrew has built a strong and competent board and management team to support and meet the evolving demands of the market and to ensure the positive development of its staff.
Andrew plays golf badly and enjoys watching most sport, travel and spending time with his nephew and twin nieces.
Jason Rudge
Commercial Procurement Director
Prior to joining Mayflex, Jason had worked as a Purchasing Manager within an IT infrastructure installer. Jason joined Mayflex in 1997 taking the role of Purchasing Manager. In 2002 Jason increased his role to become the Product Development Manager, with increased focus on developing the current manufacturers along with the sourcing of new products and technology solutions.
In October 2007 Jason was appointed as Mayflex Group Supply Chain Director, with primary responsibility for the movement of goods throughout the groups supply chain from manufacturer to end user.
In 2015 Jason took on the role of Mayflex Group Procurement Director; with a specific focus on new products and technology solutions; essentially to cope with the growth in Mayflex’s global customer base and the appetite for emerging trends in this connected world toward the IoT.
Jason is an avid Aston Villa fan; he enjoys playing football, golf and keeping fit.
Nadeen Bilgin
International Sales Director
Having previously worked for GE and Bosch, Nadeen joined Mayflex in August 2007. She was then promoted to International Sales Director in November 2008. Nadeen now manages the internal and external international sales teams. Nadeen is responsible for the sales budget for Mayflex Europe and penetrates new markets for the Excel structured cabling portfolio into new regions outside of Europe.
Family and friends play an important part of Nadeen’s life, together with the passion for fine wines, snowboarding, running and the mighty Arsenal FC.
Clare Lundberg
Director of HR
Clare has a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and Sociology and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development. Clare has over 15 years' experience within Human Resources having worked for a large blue chip distribution company (Hays) and an IT outsourcing company (Getronics). Clare joined Routeco in 2006, was appointed as HR & Customer Experience Director in 2015. Routeco was acquired by the Sonepar group in 2014 and Mayflex acquired in 2015, Clare has now taken the role of HR Director for both Routeco and Mayflex.
Outside of work Clare’s main focus is spending time with her family and dog, however she also enjoys running, road biking and cooking.
Ross McLetchie
Sales Director
Ross joined Mayflex in October 2012 and took up the role of Director of Sales for the MEA & APAC. After 6 years successfully developing this market Ross moved back to the UK in late 2018 to take up the role of Sales Director for the UK & Ireland.
Ross works closely with each of the companies Director of Sales and is responsible for the strategic growth of the portfolio of vendor partners for each of the focus areas of the business.
Ross lives in Glasgow and spends his free time with his wife and 3 daughters and keeps active by playing football and running.
Israr Ghulam
Finance Director
Israr joined Mayflex in September 2019 as Finance Director, having previously held Finance Director roles with other international organisations such as Eaton and IDEX Inc.
At Mayflex, alongside overall ownership of financial reporting up to the Sonepar Group, his role and responsibilities are centred around partnering with the rest of the organization to help drive a coherent financial strategy of maximum return on investment through a combination of growth, cost and working capital management.
The organisation is also measured against a host of key performance indicators and his role is to provide the financial leadership for Mayflex to deliver against those targets while minimising the company’s exposure to any financial risks.
Israr is a FCCA Accountant, having qualified in 2006. His spare time outside of work is spent principally around his family and most notably chauffeuring his kids around to their various activities as well as trying to be a coach for his youngest son’s local football team.
Donna Hughes
Director of Sales – Proactive
Donna worked for Fibre Optech from 1998, becoming Sales Manager when Mayflex entered into a joint venture in 2005. She was then promoted to Director of Sales – Proactive in 2014 heading up the Proactive arm of the business. Donna is responsible for driving the team to continue building solid relationships within the customer base.
Donna lives with her young daughter Naomi and spends her spare time swimming, has a love for cooking as well as socialising with friends and family.
Ross Higham
Director of Sales – Infrastructure
Having previously worked for Networks Centre and Corning, Ross joined Mayflex in November 2020 taking the role of Director of Sales for the Infrastructure Division. Ross is responsible for the infrastructure sales department, managing the external sales team and working closely with the projects team.
Ross enjoys spending his free time with his young family and keeps fit by playing football and going to the gym. He is also a keen golfer.
Francesco Bellavia
Director of Sales - Security
Or “Frankie” as he is widely known is an experienced Security Sales Director with a demonstrated history of working with major distribution companies in the Security and telecommunications industry. Frankie is responsible for delivering the overall Security strategy managing the external Security team.
Frankie enjoys keeping up with his twin girls as they travel the world, golf, and follows his beloved Tottenham Hotspur.
Amanda Griffiths
Director of Sales - Projects and Internal Security
Amanda joined Mayflex in 2001 as a part time administrator and later moved across to the Projects team. She has been promoted several times from projects administrator, co-ordinator, manager and in April 2022 she became the Director of Sales for Projects and Internal Security. Amanda is responsible for driving the teams and ensuring that we provide the very best support to our customer base.
Amanda loves to spend time at the weekend walking with her 2 dogs and spending time with my family and friends.
Martin Eccleston
Commercial Manager
Martin joined Mayflex in 2002 as Commercial Manager, becoming part of the Strategic Management Team, working closely with the board on reviewing and implementing the business strategies.
Responsible day to day for the internal sales operations and the customer service team, Martin has a strong focus on the delivery of service excellence and customer experience, which is aligned to the core values of the business and underline the business’s commitment to our clients.
Martin is a devoted follower of Liverpool FC and spends many an hour travelling to and from matches.
Tracey Kernaghan
Marketing Manager
Tracey joined Mayflex in April 1999 in the role as Marketing Manager and over that time has put together a core team of people who are responsible for the marketing communications within the business. With over 36 years marketing experience and having previously worked at Tandon Computers and Mitsubishi Electric PC Division, she has a good background of working within the IT industry. Tracey works on both the Mayflex and Excel brands and works in conjunction with the digital marketing team.
Tracey lives near Droitwich with her husband and three dogs and loves walking, yoga and horse riding.
Richard Cann
Technical Services Manager
Richard joined Mayflex in February 2015 to help strengthen the various technical support, manufacturing, assembly and value-added elements of the business. Having graduated in mechanical engineering from the University of Leeds, Richard has worked for a number of manufacturers and installers in related industries gaining experience in production and product engineering, design, manufacturing, engineering and operations management. Specialising in fibre optics for the past 25 years, the last 8 years have been spent with a major IT infrastructure installer & integrator of IP solutions.
Originally from Aylesbury, Richard has lived and worked in London and now lives in Oxfordshire and has 2 daughters. He enjoys DIY at the weekends, listening to great music (generally that means old music!) and messing about with cars and mechanical things when time allows.
Max Butler
Group Purchasing Manager
Max joined the business in February 2008 as a buyer, having previously worked in management roles for two other telecoms distribution companies, before progressing into a operational management role at Mayflex in 2012.
Max is responsible for the procurement team, the groups inventory management and inbound supply chain. The main goal is to ensure that Mayflex has the correct levels of inventory, deliver excellent customer service and add value where possible.
Max lives in Birmingham and spends his spare time with his wife and 2 boys. Max is also a passionate Birmingham City and boxing fan.
Ashley Girn
Group Financial Controller
Ashley joined Mayflex in October 2013 as Senior Purchase Ledger Controller. Ashley's current responsibilities are to ensure the smooth running of the finance department which includes, ensuring suppliers are paid on time, reporting is completed in an accurate, timely manner and to help communicate the overall business figures and trends to the wider business.
Ashley Graduated from De Montfort University in 2012 and became ACCA qualified in 2016. He is a Coventry City football fan and enjoys going to the gym and playing football in his leisure time.
Jon Beech
IT Manager
Jon joined the business in August 2000 as an IT Support Technician, with a background in supporting and developing ERP systems in previous employments.
Jon is now responsible for the smooth running of the IT Department including Infrastructure, Helpdesk and Business Systems Development.
Jon lives near Stourbridge with his wife and 3 children and loves to keep active by running and playing football and golf (badly).
