Ashley joined Mayflex in 2013 and plays a key role in shaping the direction and delivery of the company’s finance function. With a strong focus on building a finance team fit for the future, he combines hands-on operational oversight with a strategic approach to forecasting, budgeting, and business partnering. Ashley uses data and technology to improve insight, drive efficiencies, and support smarter decision-making across the business. He works closely with other departments to highlight trends, uncover cost-saving opportunities, and ensure financial information is clear, timely, and useful — not just numbers for the sake of it. Developing people is a big part of Ashley’s approach. He’s passionate about creating a team culture that values curiosity, ownership, and progression, with a strong focus on mentoring and succession planning. Ashley graduated from De Montfort University in 2012 and qualified as an ACCA accountant in 2016. Away from work, he’s a Coventry City supporter, gym goer, dog walker and proud husband and dad.
