Containment / Kopex Queries - Would you be able to send across the latest containment size excel spreadsheet?
Also, we are looking for a bit of advice on Kopex and recommendations
• What’s your thoughts on linking containment with Kopex underneath ductwork etc?
• What would be the total CAT6a F/FTP cabling we would be able to install within a Kopex ?

As per our power segregation and containment calculator.
For Kopex use the conduit tab and simply input the internal diameter of the kopex and all of the excel cables will be calculated.
Note Kopex generally 1mm thick therefore suggest deducting 2mm from OD to be sure of the quantity.

Are there any limitations to using coaxial cables?

Yes, there are several limitations to using coaxial cables:
Bulkiness: Coaxial cables are relatively thick and inflexible, making them harder to install and manage, especially in tight spaces.
Signal Degradation: Over long distances, coaxial cables can experience significant signal loss, requiring the use of amplifiers to maintain signal quality.
Limited Bandwidth: Compared to modern alternatives like Ethernet cables, coaxial cables have a lower bandwidth capacity.
Installation Costs: Due to their thickness and the need for special connectors and tools, installing coaxial cables can be more expensive, particularly for long-distance applications.
Susceptibility to Damage: Coaxial cables can be damaged by lightning strikes and other environmental factors, which can disrupt the entire network.
Security Concerns: They are relatively easy to tap into, which can pose security risks in certain applications.
Despite these limitations, coaxial cables are still widely used due to their durability and effectiveness in specific applications.

Why do I get "HTTPS certificate not trusted" Why do I get "HTTPS certificate not trusted" when I try to add devices to AXIS Device Manager?

“HTTPS certificate not trusted” is shown when AXIS Device Manager discovers devices that can be contacted only through HTTPS, but where the AXIS Device Manager doesn’t trust the server certificate installed on the device.
There are two possible reasons for this:
The Axis device runs AXIS OS version 7.20 or higher which is preconfigured with a self-signed certificate.
The device is configured with a server certificate from another CA than the one configured in AXIS Device Manager.
To be able to add the devices to AXIS Device Manager anyway, go to Configuration > Security and enable Ignore certificate validation.
