Wednesdy 13th October: Unfortunately we are still experiencing issues with the FedEx deliveries so we cannot guarantee delivery for a next day service. We are doing everything possible to improve the situation and we hope to get back to our normal service as soon as possible.
Thursday 07 October: Further to yesterdays announcement we can confirm that FedEx have recommenced collections for their UK Operation. However this is at a limited capacity and whilst goods will be dispatched from Mayflex, due to potential backlogs and outstanding volumes within the network we cannot guarantee delivery for a next day service, all deliveries over the coming days will therefore be conducted on a best endeavours basis. We thank you for your understanding.
Wednesday 06 October: Mayflex have, this afternoon, been informed that FedEx Express have temporarily suspended their UK Domestic services following a significant technical problem within the sortation system at their national hub, which occurred overnight on Tuesday 5th October.
As a result of this, any deliveries despatched from Mayflex on Tuesday 5th October may remain within the FedEx network and may not be delivered to you today. We are advised that the suspension of service is to enable this backlog to be cleared and the technical problem to be addressed.
On Wednesday 06th orders received after 1400pm, that would typically be delivered via FedEx will not be despatched until Thursday 07th at the earliest. We will process your order for Thursday despatch and advise you during the day should this not be possible.
We will update this notice in the next 24 hours.
Our trade counter remains open for collections from 0600am to 2000pm and our pallet delivery service is unaffected.
We apologise sincerely for this situation and assure you we are working to ensure the impact on service is kept to a minimum.
